My little bunnies

With all the cooking I had to do today I can't believe I was up for crafting. Kaya, and I have been busy little bunnies today. I decided to make a few stuffed bunnies. This concept is the same as the stuffed pumpkins for Halloween. I need to work on the pattern alittle, but I think they turned out cute anyway.

Foam Easter baskets

These baskets were really fun to made. We didn't want to stop. I think next year we will definitely do this project again, and pass them out to our neighbor friends. Thanks Martha!

No sew princess crown

1. Apply heat n bond to felt.
2. Outline a crown, and cut out with scissors.

3. Cut out strap for the back of the head.
4. Remove advesive backing, and iron all pieces together.

I love how cute this turned out. My little monkey loved it!

Getting ready for Easter

I miss sewing... I've decided to take a sewing kit to school since I get down time occasionally. Easter is right around the corner, so I thought I would stitch a few appliques for Kaya's blouses to iron on. Here's what I've been able to create with my down time.

My Body for Life

I get asked often how I keep in shape. I decided to share 2 books that I use as part of my fitness plan. Since moving back to the high country I've taken up running again. This has help me take off weight. Now I've improved the look of my body by using weights. At 41, I look as great as I did in my twenties, and can still fit into my size 5 jeans! Give weight training a serious try. It will transform your body.
