Princess hair and face painting

I absolutely love children's parties. My monkeys are outgrowing kiddy parties, but I miss planning them. Now I share my ideas, and creativity with other little monkeys. Here are a few princess hair ideas I've created for princess theme parties. I love using hair tinsel, ribbons, and glitter to create fun, and fairy princess hair designs. This in combination with face painting pulls the whole princess theme together. Little girls love seeing themselves, and each other all made up. Check out my website for more information about princess parties! http://christinedeangelis.com/#/flagstaff-childrens-parties/

Hair Bling

Hair Tinsel is a fun way to live up your hair at any age. I've been using it for clients after color services. It's great for parties, and embracing the holiday seasons. I order my tinsel from the internet site Hair Flair. I used many tie-in techniques, but I like wetting the hair first. It's easier to install strands, and it seem to hold a little longer. It's a great way to earn a little extra cash.

Making your own Colored hair extension photos

Here are the supplies you will need for colored hair extensions
I used hair clips for hold the hair still while I apply color.
Color applied. Now cover with foil, and head with blow dryer.
Same thing, but used purple color.
Here's a photo of how this looks in hair. I love that I don't have to color my hair, but can switch out to different colors. Here's the tutorial link again.

Inspirational updo's from Hershey PA

I attended the Hershey PA Empire annual hair show, and competition. Here's are some long hair updo's that were judged during the competition phase. Beautiful work, and inspiring.

Faux Hawk design

I love how my faux hawk design turned out. It came out awesome! I did this for the Hershey PA men's trend cut, and color competition. It was a great experience in design, and custom cutting for me. I used Gatsby Glue on this baby. Love it!

Vintage hair styles

Here's some styles I've created. I love the Victorian period. I did this with a little kick of color.
I also love the look of victory roll from the 1940. It's simple, but very classy.

Make your own colored hair extensions

I've been spending a lot of time on Youtube.com seeking out different hair styles. I love the 1940's, and 1950's glamorous film sirens like Veronica Lake, and Marilyn Monroe. I love the Betty Page pin up girls, and I'm finding a lot of beauty modern up dos of today's stars. I've created many of them at school. I'm really getting into the creative aspect of these beautiful looks. I will post those school photos soon.
In the meantime, I'm working on creating my own colored hair extensions. I found a tutorial on youtube.com . I am so excited about this project because colored hair extension are very expensive. Now with a little knowledge, and skill I can create my own for much less. I will post my results soon.
