Blueberry pancakes anyone?

Oh yeah, this is my kind of recipe. My monkeys love pancakes, and I love making homemade ones. I found an exciting recipe with a twist on the maple syrup. Can't wait to try. Here's the recipe link from Bakerella.

Homemade therapy sacks

I found this project a while back, but I haven't had the time to post my own design version. I decide to forward the how to link. I thought this would made a great gift to friends, and family. Everyone needs a little help in the TLC department. Check it out.

How to clean your make up brushes

I've discovered make up finally, so now I need help caring for my applicators. I use Bare Mineral products, and recently have gotten into eye make up. I found this tutorial on how to best clean my brushes. Who knew olive oil was great for removing make up, good for deep conditioning your hair, and now clean your make up brushes. Now my economy size Sam's Club jug of olive oil is really going to come in handy.

Whiten your teeth the inexpensive way

I lost my whiting tray the first week I got it. I was planning on making an appointment with my dentist again just for a new tray. I found this great tutorial on youtube.com on how to create your own whiting tray at home for only a few dollars. You can also use your homemade whiting tray with over the counter whiteners. Sounds good to me. I can't wait to give this one a try.

Scrapbook paper and pictures

This frame has been a big joke in our house for some time now. I bought it the 1st week we moved into our house, and it's been hanging on our wall empty for at least a year, and a half now. I finally ordered some pictures I love of my monkeys. I decide to fill some of the frames with scrapbook paper because some paper is just to pretty not to be displayed. I love being surrounded by pretty things. Now I need to fill the upstair frames. Oh well, maybe next year!

Summer lunch

This is the first year I've enrolled my monkeys into a summer camp. I miss them so much, and it's been hard for them not to see me as much during the day. I decided that I would write short "Once upon a time" story on their napkins just to remind them I'm there for them. Here's one I did for my littlest monkey.

Diaper Cake

Yeah Erin! Check out this great baby gift my friend Erin made for her best friend! I'm jealous. I love it. A cake of diapers.

My new favorite hair care products

I have discovered some new hair care products that I have grown to love. I've been experimenting with different brands but these are my new favorites. American Crew pomade is great for defining the hair. It's smooth, and easy to use. Bio Silk Therapy I use on my hair after styling. It gives my hair a beautiful shine which I get many compliments on. Love it. Biolage by Matrix Ultra Hydrating Conditioning Balm is my favorite conditioner. I've been using a lot of heat on my hair which makes it brittle. This conditioner repairs the damage I've done. CHI Thermal protective spray. I use this product on my hair before using any heat tools. It protect my hair from heat damage. Gatsby Wax is an awesome product for spiky hair with crazy volume. It holds the best, and makes styling a breeze. Great for faux hawk, and detailed hair arrangement. I love my Big Sexy Hair hairspray. Holds like glue, and doesn't have a build up. Along with Matrix Balm I use the Matrix Shampoo. Lathers great, and smells yummy. Matrix Vazoom mousse doesn't get flaky, and holds up my heavy hair. I hope you try any of these products.

Make up is fun.

Make up is a new world to me. I've always been a brown shade kinda girl, but now I love to experiment with different colors. Who knew at my age I would be having fun with make up. I still have a lot to learn about application, and taking care of my products. I recently had my 1st set of fake lashes put on, and I was impressed with how beautiful my eyes looked. I love discovering new play things. I found some great make up lines on Amazon. I can't wait to get my hand on some MAC!

I have fallen in love!

My girlfriend Erin turn me on to the DSW website. She wears high heel platform almost everyday. I love how tall she is, and how cute those heels look on her. I can't find much in this small country town, so the internet is my friend. I love this site. Now I'm about a good 4 to 5 inches taller when I wear my platform heels. I see life from a whole new prospective. Wow, great view.

Bath and body favorites

Here are a few of my favorite products from Bath and Body. I love the essential oils. I have several which I use regular to massage my family. It's great for relaxing. I love the C.O. Bigelow Barber line for men. My favorite is the Elixir red products. I love the smell. John won't use anything else now. I love the Blossom Brooklyn collection. My favorite is the deep conditioning hair mask. I use it to give myself a protein pack once a week. Apply like a stay on conditioner, place a plastic cap to cover, and heat for 30 minutes. My hair feels delusion afterward. My all time favorite is Sweet Pea products. I love the smell. It's the perfect gift for others, and myself everytime. Go checkout Bath and Body. Enjoy!

Pamper your feet

I've open my life to a whole new world of pampering. I love getting pedicures. Now I gave them to my friends, and family. We all need a little TLC, so what better way to invest in a home base spa treatment at home. My monkeys love it, and so do my friends. Great investment.

Art Club nail products

I love Art Club stripers. I recently purchase a ton of these stripes. I love decorating nails. I used to be a french manicure type of gal, but now I'm a teenage again. My little monkey and I are having great fun with these stripers, and glitter! We spend time together creating fun art work on our pretty fingers.

Leopard print lips

I love youtube now. I'm addicted to all to the hair, and make up tutorials. Here's the how to video link to create this leopard print look. One of my favorite sites.

A New Earth...Awakening to your life's purpose

This is the first book I read that I needed to break out the highlighter. I purchased this book when it first was announced as part of Oprah's book club. I read a few pages, and I thought it was a waste of money. It's been several years now, and I think the problem was I wasn't consciously prepared to read this book. I feel it's given me some insight into my state of consciousness that I am now ready to explore. I love the book, and can't stop highlighting. Great self improvement book.

Make up and hair anyone?

Here's are some new styling tools I've discovered. I've never been into changing my make up or hair style. Lately I've been experimenting. My new favorite tools are the Hai Elite Tong, and Rod. The Tong are used like a 3 barrel curling iron, but the waves are much larger. What I purchased the tong for was the great way it makes those impossible finger waves. I love the old Hollywood look, and this curler does just that. The rod curler is used with a heat protection glove, and makes perfect spiral curls. I love them both. Now I spend alot of fun time in the bathroom getting smokin hot!!!

Inspirational updo's from Hershey PA

I attended the Hershey PA Empire annual hair show, and competition. Here's are some long hair updo's that were judged during the competition phase. Beautiful work, and inspiring.

Faux Hawk design

I love how my faux hawk design turned out. It came out awesome! I did this for the Hershey PA men's trend cut, and color competition. It was a great experience in design, and custom cutting for me. I used Gatsby Glue on this baby. Love it!
